Bio
Picture
I became interested in biology and animal behaviour thanks to wildlife photography and mountains sports, my main hobbies. Spending a lot of time in the French Alps and outdoors developed my curiosity in these subjects.

I have a degree in biology and ecology from the French University Savoie Mont Blanc where I specialised in alpine and mountain ecology.

During my three years of study, I took the opportunity to assist multiple organisations and researchers with their field work.
I have diverse experience with the monitoring, capturing and banding of a variety of animals from different taxonomic groups including:

  • Chiroptere with Myrtille Beranger and the Group Chiroptere Isere (France)
  • Chamois, Mouflons et Bouquetins (Rupicapra rupicapra, Ovis aries musimon and Capra ibex) with the Bauges massif Regional Nature Park
  • Vervet monkey (Chlorocebus pygerythrus) at The Vervet Monckey Foundation (South Africa)
  • Tortle Cistude (Emys orbicularis) with Melanie Hugon and APIE Group (France)
  • Multiple bird species with Henry Dugon (France)

I am currently a research assistant for Victoria Austin, assisting with her study of the evolution and function of vocalisations of female Lyrebirds (Menura novaehollandiae). For further information please follow the link to her profile. From February I will also assist Philippe Henry with his work on Therapeutic Canabis (Cannabis sativa L) in British Columbia.

Research interests
Picture
After my time in Australia and Canada I aim to complete a Master of Biology, Evolution and Behaviour.
My time working as a field assistant has provided me with a strong background in research that will greatly assist me in my future studies.

I am interested in any opportunities relating to these subjects and have a particular interest in cultural evolution and eusociality.
